Top of The Rock

While the Observatory is the main attraction at Top of the Rock, the experience goes far beyond that. The Grand Atrium Lobby features a stunning chandelier, the “Joie,” a 3 story structure dripping with 14,000 Swarovski crystals. A Beam Walk exhibit and an interactive light show in the Breezeway room provide more ways to enjoy your time at Top of the Rock. It is located at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10112.

If you’re visiting Vegas, it is best to visit on a weekday. The observatory is less crowded on the weekdays, and you should purchase your ticket well in advance. Make sure to allow enough time for your visit – you can only visit once, so it’s best to arrive early in the day. Alternatively, you can visit during the evening for a view of the sunset.

One of the best ways to take in the city’s skyline is from the Top of the Rock. While it’s a popular tourist spot, it can get chilly at night. You can upgrade your ticket for a higher price to view the city from the observation deck at sunset or sunrise, but it can be quite cold. Learn more.

The views are spectacular. From the observation deck, you can see the city in 360-degree rotation and the New York Harbour in the distance. You can also see the Hudson River and Central Park. The observatory is open year-round, but is closed occasionally due to extreme weather. If you’re planning to visit, make sure to go early in the morning or late in the evening when the weather is clear and there’s less chance of fog.

If you’re looking for a way to avoid the long lines at the top, you can book tickets online for Top of the Rock. The waiting time for the ticket counter is around 15 minutes, but can be longer during peak times. Tickets also come with a timed entry, which means you can choose your preferred time. When you’re ready, head to the elevator and board one of the four Sky Shuttles that will take you 200 meters up to the top. Before you exit the elevator, make sure to watch a short video about your trip.

The observation deck at the top of Rockefeller Center is the best way to experience the city from above. It has a spectacular 360-degree view of New York City and is conveniently located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. You can also take the subway to get to the Top of the Rock. You can also ride the Hop-on Hop-off bus tour, which stops at the Rockefeller Plaza. More about Brooklyn here.

Another great way to get a bird’s-eye view of Manhattan is from the One World Observatory. This is located nearer the southern end of Manhattan and offers better views of the Financial District, Statue of Liberty, and the Hudson River. In addition to the observation deck, you can also see Central Park, Times Square, and the Empire State Building from the top. One World Observatory is more enclosed than the Top of the Rock, but you can enjoy the views from either one.
